Qualifications and Requirements
Zion Baptist Church, located at 523 Washington Avenue, Brooklyn, New York, is holding God’s unchanging hand as we search for a dynamic full time Pastor to lead our congregation of approximately 300 people. The Shepherd we seek is a person of integrity whose intention is to grow in Christ and to encourage our Church Family with God’s Word. We are searching for someone who will take a leadership role, being led by the Holy Spirit, who will teach and provide scripture-based preaching, furnish our church with a clearly defined vision and one who, because they are a visionary leader, will capture the hearts and minds of our current membership and attract the next generation of Saints.
A graduate degree from an accredited institution and prior religious leadership experience is required. The ideal candidate will be able to express why they feel called to pastoral ministry, and demonstrate counseling ability. The prospective candidate should have a working knowledge of today’s technology. Experience in administrative duties will also be assessed.
