Mission Statement

   The Hospitality Ministry is a community of members whose purpose it is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through service to Jesus Christ. Jesus, a perfect servant, a stranger, a host, and a guest depended upon hospitality, received hospitality, gave hospitality, and focused on the importance of hospitality.

The Hospitality Ministry is called upon to serve God in Zion Baptist Church by:

•Sharing that through the process of hospitality strangers are received and are changed from outsiders to guests and from guests to Church Family(Kingdom) members.

•Developing, such that it becomes common knowledge amongst ministry members, the Church Family and the community that hospitality is a very important element of Christianity because it empowers us in service to God.

•Exploring and demonstrating the Biblical meaning of hospitality.

•Illustrating that hospitality is on of the defining characteristics of a believer who is saved.

•Greeting all who comes into the Church with a joyous and positive spirit.

•Being the official welcoming ministry serving in such a way that will give people a desire to return to worship and build His Kingdom with us.
